Health Equities Social Enterprise Programme Director
Salary: £49,000 per annum
Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Sunderland, with travel across Tyne & Wear & England
Sunderland Bangladesh International Centre (SBIC) is seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to direct its new £3.5 million National Lottery-funded Breaking Barriers programme, tackling health inequalities affecting Black, Muslim and racially minoritised communities.
The successful candidate will have substantial senior leadership experience, a proven track record of managing complex programmes and partnerships, securing funding, and leading organisational change. Strong knowledge of health inequalities, community development and partnership working is essential. Applicants should demonstrate insight into the lived experiences of Black and/or Muslim communities and a strong commitment to equality, inclusion and social justice.
