COVID Champions

The COVID Champions project was a multi-agency project instigated during the COVID pandemic in 2021. The project was aimed at the Global Majority community in Sunderland, with three specific aims

• To combat misinformation relating to the COVID-19 virus
• To inform and advise of public health and  legal guidelines relating to social distancing, the wearing of masks, sanitisation and bubbles
• To encourage greater take up of vaccines available
